A 1705-A/S 1225-A  Memo of Support  

Establishes the New York state clean energy tech production program as a self-directed program for industrial, commercial and large users in order to stimulate the growth and adoption of more efficient use of energy, greater use of advanced energy management products, deeper penetration of renewable energy resources, wider deployment of "distributed" energy resources, and storage.

A 650/S 1429 Memo of Support

Amends provisions relating to the liability of landowners who permit recreational uses of their land; provides that landowners owe no duty to keep premises safe for entry, passage or other recreational uses or to give warning of any hazardous condition, structure or activity on such premises to persons entering for such purposes.

A 1874/S 138 Memo of Support 

Establishes a forestry stewardship and habitat conservation credit for personal income and business franchise taxes.

A 1502/S 1959 Memo of Opposition

Authorizes local governments to adopt a local law or ordinance requiring property owners to replace each tree removed from their property with up to three trees and authorizes the imposition of property tax credits and reasonable fines.

A 3008/S 2008 Memo of Opposition 

Enacts into law major components of legislation necessary to implement the state transportation, economic development and environmental conservation budget for the 2017-2018 state fiscal year

A 425/S 154 Memo of Opposition

Requires a referendum for the approval on all sales of property assessed at over twenty-five million dollars in cities with a population of one million or more.

A 5977/S 4014 Memo of Support

Relates to impairment guidelines for scheduled loss of use awards.

A 6218/S 4554 Memo of Support

Limits workers' compensation benefits for partial permanent disabilities, which limit wage earning by less than 85%, to the period of the continuance of such disability, but not for a period of more than 525 weeks.

A 650/S 1429 Memo of Support

S 2414 Support

Allows public utility lines and bicycle paths on certain state lands in the forest preserve and establishes a forest preserve health and safety land account.

A 5451 Opposition

Relates to preserving ecological integrity, wildlife and open space in the Adirondack park; strengthens land use and development provisions in the Adirondack park so as to curtail rural sprawl.

A 7380/ S 3032 Support

Relates to establishing a young Logger Apprenticeship program.

A 8301/ S 2414 Support

Allows public utility lines and bicycle paths on certain state lands in the forest preserve and establishes a forest preserve health and safety land account.
